This level of programmes provide information and values based education on human sexuality appropriate for the age group of years 7 to 9.
TOWARD LOVING (A)
For years 7 to 8
‘Toward Loving (A)’ is designed to encourage and resource parents, enabling them to share, instruct and talk with their children confidently.
The format of this module is as a facilitated evening session with parents and children.
Objectives
- To support parents in their role as primary educators of their children.
- To communicate the Christian understanding of human sexuality and relationships.
- To educate students on how to healthily integrate all aspects of their Hauora (emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical and social).
- To facilitate learning in an environment that encourages interaction and respect.

TOWARD LOVING (B)
For years 8 to 9
‘Toward Loving (B)’ is designed to encourage students to value the importance of family and healthy friendships, as a module that builds on ‘Toward Loving (A)’ to expand that knowledge and information, as appropriate for this age group.
The format of this module is a full day, in-school seminar where students engage with the subject matter in small groups, guided by a trained facilitator.

- To communicate the Christian understanding of human sexuality and relationships.
- To educate students on how to healthily integrate all aspects of their Hauora (emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical and social)
- To facilitate learning in an environment that encourages interaction, contribution and respect.
